Twirling Princess with Long Flowing Hair and Crown

A young princess with a small crown spins across the page, her very long straight hair streaming out behind her as if caught in the wind. She looks over her shoulder with a small smile and dot eyes. Her gown has puffy sleeves with banded cuffs, a fitted bodice with a zigzag trim at the neckline, and a wide skirt split into big curved panels with a scalloped hem. One hand rests on the side of her skirt while the other arm is tucked behind her. Below the hem you can see dotted stockings and pointed high-heeled shoes, with her feet lifted off the ground mid-dance. The large skirt panels are easy for little hands to fill in. Try giving each panel its own shade, then add a pattern to the stockings with the dots as a guide. The flowing hair is great for practicing long, smooth strokes.
