Holiday Skylanders Baby Dragons With Santa Hat and Bow

Two chubby baby dragons sit cuddled up together on this festive page. The one on the right has a floppy Santa hat with a fluffy pom-pom, a big smile, spotted skin and a row of rounded back spikes, and one arm reaches toward its friend. On the left, the other dragon has a beak, curled horns, large feathered wings and a ribbon bow at its neck, plus striped legs ending in big clawed feet. Light hatching on the ground is all the background there is, so little ones can stay on the characters. Big shapes and round eyes are easy for younger kids, and the feathers and spots give older kids shading to do. A red hat with a white pom-pom and soft blue and green wings would be pretty. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue dragon: color the head, body, arm and tail area in sky blue, and fill the belly and hip shading with ocean blue.
- 2Color the red dragon's body, wings, head and legs in bright red, using brick red for the bow and the darker leg parts.
- 3Fill the wing tips, leg wraps and feather areas on the red dragon with sunny yellow, and the golden ribbon and body stripes with golden yellow.
- 4Color the horns and snout in light tan, and the blue dragon's claws, toes and body segments in cream.
- 5Use deep blue for the blue dragon's far horn and darker wing parts. Leave the eye whites, hat fur trim, pom-pom, and background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade under the belly and wings with the same colors for more depth.
