Rivals Nose to Nose: Two Chibi Wrestling Stars

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• royal blue
• sky blue
• golden yellow
• coral red
• bright red
• lemon yellow
• amber
• peach
• deep blue
• medium blue
• tangerine orange

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big areas: fill the red wrestler's head and body in coral red and bright red, and the blue wrestler's head and body in royal blue.
2. 2Color the capes and boots: use golden yellow for the red wrestler's cape and boots, and sky blue for the blue wrestler's cape and boots.
3. 3Add the belts, gloves and center ring post in amber for the gloves, golden yellow for the belts and lemon yellow for the center post.
4. 4Paint the faces: lemon yellow for the red mask face, sky blue for the blue mask, and peach for the cheeks and muzzles.
5. 5Leave the eye whites, the background between the wrestlers and the ring ropes white, then add a dark blue shade on the ropes if you like.
6. 6Optional: add a few darker strokes along the edges of the capes and legs for a little depth, and finish the lightning bolt on the blue mask in sky blue.
