Two Jockeys Gallop Side by Side Down the Dirt Track

Two jockeys lean low over their horses as they gallop side by side down a dirt track. The jockey in front wears a helmet, goggles, and a saddle cloth with the number 2, while the rider behind has the number 8 on his sleeve and a striped helmet with a pom on top. Both horses have wide, wary eyes, bridles with reins, and flying manes. Chunks of dirt kick up near the hooves, and a rail fence runs along the right side. The big shapes are easy for small hands, and the dirt clods and silks suit fine-tip pens. Try giving each jockey different racing colors, then talk about why riders wear numbers, helmets, and goggles. This free page works well for a sports unit or a horse lover's quiet afternoon.
