Two Kids Having a Snowball Fight Behind a Bush

Coloring guide
One child crouches low behind a puffy, cloud-shaped bush, holding a snowball in a mittened hand with a big open-mouthed grin. A second child stands just behind it with one arm raised high, ready to throw a snowball, while the other hand rests on the hip holding another one. Both kids wear knit hats, coats, and mittens. Piles of round snowballs are stacked up beside the standing child and scattered on the ground near the crouching one, all sitting on a wavy patch of snowy ground. The snowballs are plain circles, so they are easy for small hands to color. Try using light blues and purples for the snowballs and shadows, then pick bright colors for the hats and mittens so the kids stand out. It is also a nice chance to practice counting the snowballs in each pile. This printable page works well for a snow day activity at home or in class.
