Two Presidents' Day Portraits Above a Flag and Birthday Cake

Two men appear side by side at the top of this drawing, one with curled white hair swept back and a high collar, the other with dark swept hair, a chin beard and a bow tie. Below them a waving American flag stretches across the page, with stars in the upper left corner and wavy stripes running to the right. In front sits a round birthday cake on a plate, topped with lots of tall candles and with HAPPY BIRTHDAY written across the side in bubbly letters. The cake has rope-style decorative borders. This one is free to print and suits a Presidents' Day lesson. Try coloring the flag in red, white and blue, then have kids count the stars and candles, or talk about why people celebrate birthdays of historical leaders.
