Two Snow Leopard Cubs Resting on a Rock

Two young leopard cubs sit side by side on a rocky ledge, both looking up and off to the side with wide, round eyes. Their mouths are open, and the cub on the right has its tongue showing. Each has rounded ears, long whiskers, and fluffy fur drawn with short, jagged lines. Irregular rosette-style spots cover their legs, shoulders, and faces. The cub on the right rests its front paws on the top of the rock, while the one on the left stands a little lower with a paw near the bottom corner. Thin cracks mark the stone below them. Try soft grays and creamy whites for the fur, then leave a few rosettes darker so the pattern stands out. It's also a nice prompt for talking about how spotted coats help big cats blend into rocky ground. This free printable suits a range of ages.
