Velma Without Her Glasses Beside a Furry Monster

A girl with a short bob haircut and freckles sprawls on the grass with her eyes squeezed shut, one arm stretched out as she feels around for something she can't see. This looks like Velma from Scooby-Doo. Above her, a big furry creature with a long snout holds her glasses dangling from its shaggy hand. Only its arm, body and chunky feet are visible. Tall bare trees with lots of bark detail fill the background, and small tufts of grass are scattered across the ground. Short motion lines near her hand add to the scramble. This free printable page works well for a mystery-themed afternoon. Try coloring the glasses in a bright shade so they stand out, then ask kids to make up what happens next in the story.
