Warrior Cats Mother and Kitten in a Cozy Herb Nest

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• straw yellow
• tabby orange
• light gray
• dark brown
• light tan
• wood brown
• caramel brown
• coral pink
• leaf green
• chestnut brown
• honey brown
• burnt orange

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big straw nest at the bottom and color it straw yellow, leaving the thin white strands between the straws uncolored.
2. 2Color the mother cat's orange patches in tabby orange, and her ear insides and nose area in coral pink.
3. 3Fill the kitten's fur with light gray, then add coral pink to its inner ears.
4. 4Use dark brown and chestnut brown for the shadowy parts of the mother cat's legs and tail, and wood brown for the shelf and branches.
5. 5Color the green herbs and leaves in leaf green, and the wooden bowl in caramel brown.
6. 6Optional: Add a little honey brown to the nest shadows and leave the eye shines, whiskers and white fur as bare paper.
