Snarling Werehog Form of Sonic the Hedgehog
Coloring guide
Crouched and ready, this snarling Sonic the Hedgehog is in his Werehog form. He has pointed ears, a toothy grin, narrowed eyes and two small horns on his head. One arm reaches out with an open hand and long claws, while the other is huge and furry with sharp talons, curled against the ground. Fur tufts circle his wrists and ankles, and his big shoes have spikes and round studs. The page is just the character and lots of white space, with no background. Deep blue fur and a soft peach on the chest and muzzle would work well, and red or orange shoes will make the spikes stand out. Thick outlines make it easy to stay inside the lines, and the fur tufts are good practice for small details. It's a free printable. Kids who like Sonic the Hedgehog coloring pages usually enjoy Plants vs. Zombies and Halo too.

- bright red
- pale gray
- grass green
- golden yellow
- charcoal gray
- peach skin
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: color the head fur, back torso, back spiky fur and both arms with bright red, leaving the claws and chest patch white.
- 2Fill the two shoes with bright red, then add the golden yellow stripes on the shoe sides and the grass green laces around the ankles.
- 3Color the muzzle and cheek with peach skin, and the chin and nose area too, keeping the teeth and eye whites white.
- 4Shade the shoe soles, claw tips, sole spikes and shoe laces with charcoal gray, and add pale gray to the small shoe details and claw highlights.
- 5Optional: Add a few darker strokes of charcoal gray along the fur edges and under the shoes to make the drawing feel more dramatic.
