Whale Shark Swimming Upward With Spotted Stripes

Whale Shark Swimming Upward With Spotted Stripes coloring page

Coloring guide

A large whale shark swims diagonally upward across the page, its wide mouth at the top right and its tail fin at the bottom left. The body is covered in wavy curved stripes with small round dots scattered between the lines. Near the head the stripes loop into swirly shapes, and one small round eye sits just above the mouth. The pale belly is left blank along the right side. You can see a pectoral fin on the right, a triangular fin on the left, two smaller fins lower down, and a forked tail with more dots. This free printable gives kids plenty of small spaces to fill. Try coloring each stripe band a different shade of blue or gray, then dot the spots in white or yellow to talk about how real whale sharks have spotted patterns.
