Windy Snowstorm Blows Man's Hat Away

A cartoon man stands in deep snow, buried up to his chest, with a wide-eyed, startled look on his face. His mouth hangs open and his thin hair streams straight back in the wind. He wears a collared coat or robe. Just above and to the left, a knit winter hat with a fluffy pom-pom has flown off his head and tumbles through the air. Long curling lines show the strong gusts, and small round dots fill the sky as falling snow. This free printable page gives kids plenty of room to play with weather colors. Try soft blues and grays for the wind swirls, a bright red or green for the runaway hat, and leave the snowdrift and dots white for a crisp look. It also works well for talking about windy days and what to wear in cold weather.
