Nervous Tall Pumpkin With Raised Brows and Open Mouth

A tall, rounded pumpkin takes up the whole page, with a curly stem on top and vertical ridges running down its sides. The face looks nervous or surprised. The eyebrows are raised and slanted, the eyes are big with small round pupils, and there is a little triangular nose. The wide open mouth curves up at the corners and shows two square top teeth and one small bottom tooth, while a lumpy lower lip sits below. Lines are bold and the spaces are large, so this one works well for younger kids using chunky crayons. Try warm oranges on the ridges and a darker green or brown on the stem. Then ask your child what might have scared this pumpkin and let them draw a background to match. This printable page is a nice fit for a Halloween feelings lesson.
