Woven Basket Piled with Fresh Strawberries

Coloring guide
The star of this page is a round woven basket with a braided rope handle arching overhead, heaped with plump berries. Every strawberry has a leafy green top and a sprinkle of little seed marks, so small hands get plenty of detail to work on. The basket itself has a brick-like woven pattern and a twisted rope band around the rim. At the bottom, three more strawberries sit on the ground, and a few serrated leaves are tucked in next to the basket. Golden tan or light brown for the basket helps the red berries and deep green leaves and caps really pop. Download the free PDF whenever you want a quick coloring break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill all the strawberries with bright red, leaving the small white highlights on the stems and tips untouched.
- 2Color the leaves and green stems on every strawberry with leaf green, plus the small mint green leaf tucked behind the right strawberry.
- 3Color the woven basket body with pale tan for the lighter bricks and dark tan for the darker bricks, following the checkered pattern.
- 4Fill the twisted rope rim and handle with light brown so they stand out against the pale basket.
- 5Optional: Add a few small dark dots on each strawberry and a darker shade along the bottom edges of the basket for a little depth.
