A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: fill the tree trunk and branches with tree brown, and paint the lake with sky blue and light blue.
- 2Color the zombie's skin and grass with lime green, then fill the pants with denim blue and the shirt and sandwich bread with cream.
- 3Add the greens in the leaves, bushes and pine trees with forest green, bright green and dark green, and paint the sun golden yellow.
- 4Fill the watermelon with tomato red, its rind with bright green, and the picnic blanket stripes with coral pink and tomato red.
- 5Finish with the details: tan for the mouth and basket, pale beige for the bone, and golden yellow for the flower in the hair. Optional: Leave the eye whites, the picnic blanket squares and the plate white for a crisp look.
