A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the wooden stage floor and the speakers: color the floor planks light tan and warm brown, and the speaker cones and frames charcoal gray, leaving the small speaker tops light gray.
2. 2Fill the skin with skin peach: the face, ears, both arms, hands, neck and the bare knee and ankle patches.
3. 3Color the zombie's shirt cherry red with dark red shadows, and the pants bright blue, leaving the guitar strap dark brown.
4. 4Add the hair in orange and the brain in soft pink, then color the guitar body bright blue and the headstock golden yellow, keeping the pickguard and fretboard white.
5. 5Color the four music notes, two in sky blue and two in lemon yellow, and fill the sneakers with cherry red, leaving the laces, eye whites and teeth white.
6. 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the shirt and pants edges and a pink tongue in the open mouth for extra depth.
