Here's a goofy zombie in a floppy straw hat, tilting a big watering can so little drops sprinkle out of the spout onto a patch of pumpkins. He has wide, round eyes and a gap-toothed grin, plus ragged sleeves, a patch on his shirt, buttoned overalls, gloves and tall boots. Three ribbed pumpkins sit up front with curly vines and large leaves around them. A wooden picket fence, rounded bushes and small grass tufts fill in the back. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big pumpkins in pumpkin orange, leaving the tiny highlights on them white.
- 2Color the leaves and vines in leaf green and deep green, and fill the lawn and bushes in light green and leaf green.
- 3Use straw yellow for the hat, and bright red for the hat band and watering can.
- 4Fill the zombie's face and hands in skin tan, leaving the eye whites white, and add coral pink to the tongue.
- 5Color the overalls in denim blue and the boots in chocolate brown, then add the dark amber collar and the fence in skin tan.
- 6Optional: Add a little light gray to the watering can shade and leave the water drops white for a splash effect.
