Tide Pool Peek With Zuma (PAW Patrol) and Crabs

Here's Zuma from PAW Patrol resting his paws on a rocky ledge and looking down into a tide pool. He's got his helmet with the anchor badge on, plus a matching anchor tag on his collar, and a big smile with a pink tongue showing. Down in the water, two smiling crabs scuttle along with claws raised, and two starfish with dotted arms sit on the bottom. Small snails with swirly shells perch on the rocks, tall wavy seaweed grows on both sides, and clusters of round bubbles or berries are scattered over the stones. Little kids will like the large shapes, and older ones can take on the dots and seaweed. Bright orange-red crabs look great against a blue pool. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the water in the tide pool and the top right sea in light sky blue, leaving the pebbles and rocks for later.
- 2Fill the rocks in light gray, then color the seaweed in leaf green and lime green along the sides.
- 3Color Zuma's face and paws in tan brown, and his ears in dark brown, leaving the eye whites untouched.
- 4Color his helmet and vest in deep blue and medium blue, then add golden yellow to the collar, backpack and helmet stripes.
- 5Add the crabs in red and orange, the big starfish in orange, and the snails in violet and orchid, keeping the pebbles beige.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the rocks and helmet edges for depth, and leave the white bubbles and eye shine uncolored.
