2020 New Year Doodle With Ornaments and Fireworks

Big chunky numbers spelling 2020 sit in the middle of a crowded doodle collage, with the zeros filled in with tight striped patterns. Around them you can spot a wall clock, a bunch of grapes, a gift box with a bow, a rocket firework, a sack tied at the top, candy canes, a stocking, and several round ornaments decorated with zigzag bands. Spiky evergreen branches, swirls, hearts, small triangles, dots, and a music note fill the gaps. Little hand-lettered words say party, happy, celebration, and xmas. Try coloring the ornaments in a repeating pattern, like red, gold, and green, and then let kids pick a different bold color for each digit of the year. The tiny swirls and dots are good for practicing careful fine-motor control, and this printable page also works well for a quiet New Year's Eve activity.
