Ornate 2022 Numerals Packed With Doodle Petals and Scallops

The year 2022 fills the page in four large, rounded numerals, each one packed with hand-drawn doodle patterns. The first 2 has a fan of layered petals and scallops across its curved top, with swirls and leaf-like lines running down the base. The 0 is covered in zigzags, triangles, tiny spirals and feather shapes, with a ring of small circles around the inner edge. The third 2 starts with rows of pointed petals and finishes with spirals and wavy lines. The last 2 has curling loops at the top and leafy shapes below. Try giving each digit its own color family, such as cool blues for the first 2 and warm oranges for the 0, so the patterns stand out. Fine-tip markers or colored pencils work well for the small sections. It's a calm, detailed page for older kids and adults, and you can print it free to make a New Year banner or card.
