2022 Candy Cane Numbers With Ornament Zero

The year 2022 is drawn in big outlined numbers that look like candy canes, each one split into small stripe sections. The first digit is a 2, then a round Christmas ornament sits where the zero would go, then two more 2s follow. The ornament has a small cap on top with a wavy zigzag band and a little loop with a tiny flame-like tip. Its round body is covered in wavy, tiger-like stripe lines. The last 2 has a long tail that curls under the whole row and ends in a rounded tip near the bottom left. The stripe sections are a good size for markers or crayons. Try alternating red and green on the candy cane parts, then give the ornament a bold set of colors. Younger kids can count the stripes along the long tail while they color. This free printable works well for New Year cards or a classroom bulletin board.
