2022 Number Tags Hanging From Balloons

Four round balloons float above four curved tags that spell out 2022, one digit per tag. Each balloon has a small knotted tie at the bottom and a wavy string running down to a hole punched in the top of its tag. The first three tags sit side by side at the same height, and the last tag with the second 2 is raised higher than the others, as if its balloon is lifting it up. The digits are big, bold outlines with lots of open space inside, so they are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring each digit a different color and the matching balloon to go with it. Kids can also say the year out loud and point to each number as they color. The printable page works well for a New Year classroom activity or a quiet moment at home.
