Aladdin Sultan Lounging on His Throne With a Hookah
Coloring guide
Kicking back on a big cushioned throne is the plump, bearded Sultan from Disney's Aladdin. His huge puffy turban carries a tall feather and a round jewel, and his long robe has a wide sash across his belly. Little hands will enjoy coloring his curly mustache and kind face. One slipper-clad foot rests up on the seat. A tall, ornate hookah with round ball shapes stands next to him, and a curly wisp of smoke drifts up behind the chair. A few small steps lead up to the decorated base of the throne, and a looped, rope-like border goes around the whole picture. Royal purple on the turban and robe and bright yellow on the feather and jewel is a good start. Younger kids can take the big areas while older ones tackle the patterned base. This fits right in with our Aladdin coloring pages — see also Moana and Beauty and the Beast.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue belly of the Sultan and the soft pale blue hookah smoke rising on the left, leaving the background white.
- 2Fill the large purple throne cushion and armrests with royal purple, then color the red throne back and red sleeves in bright red.
- 3Color the brick steps and the bottom base with warm brown, and add peach to the sandy ground on the sides.
- 4Add the cream turban and round cushion, then the orange hookah bowl and curtain edges in amber orange.
- 5Finish with golden yellow trim along the base and teal green on the pedestal, keeping the face, mustache, and white sash white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading on the brick steps and the sides of the purple cushion to make the shapes pop.
