Angel Above Two Shepherds and a Sheep Under Stars

A smiling angel floats across the top of the page with one wing raised, arms stretched out, and bare feet kicked up behind her. She wears a headband and a long robe. Four sparkly stars fill the night sky around her. Below, two shepherds look up at her. The one on the left wears a head covering tied with a twisted band and holds a tall crook. The other sits on the right with a rounded cap, tilting his head back. A fluffy sheep stands in front with its ears down, and a grass tuft sits in the corner while rolling hills run behind. This free printable works well for a Christmas story hour. Ask kids to pick a dark blue or purple for the sky, then leave the stars bright yellow so they stand out. It also gives little ones a chance to practice coloring the wool on the sheep with small, round scribbles.
