Festival Fireworks Anime Style Couple in Yukata
Coloring guide
Two smiling kids in summer yukata gaze up at a sky full of fireworks, each holding a clear bag with goldfish swimming inside. The boy has spiky hair and a striped yukata with firework patterns. The girl's yukata is covered in flowers, with a bow at the back and a cluster of blossoms in her hair. Behind them is a busy festival street with hanging paper lanterns, food stalls with skewers, fox masks on a booth, a small crowd and a torii gate in the distance. This free printable has plenty of detail, so it's a good fit for older kids who like fine-tipped pencils. Bright orange goldfish against soft blue bags will stand out, and pink, yellow and purple suit the fireworks. - 1Start with the skin areas: color the faces, necks, arms and hands of both characters in peach, keeping the eye whites and the bright highlights white.
- 2Fill the boy's hair in brown and the girl's hair and hair bun in amber, leaving small white shine spots.
- 3Color the boy's yukata in royal blue and the girl's yukata in blush pink, then add the pale pink and cherry red flowers on the girl's kimono.
- 4Paint the goldfish bags in light aqua and pale blue, color the goldfish inside in light gray or leave them white, and fill the obi sash in soft gold.
- 5Add the lanterns in tangerine and navy blue, the stall awnings in lemon yellow and tangerine, and the street in light gray. Optional: add a darker blue shadow along the kimono folds for depth.
