Weaving Through Branching Coral, Ariel and Flounder

A mermaid with long flowing hair swims through a thicket of branching coral, one arm stretched out to the side and the other hand raised near her friend. She wears a shell-style top and has a smooth curving tail with a finned end. Beside her is a round-faced fish with big eyes, a puffy snout, striped fins and a row of oval spots along his side, looking up at her with a worried expression. Wavy coral branches fill the background and frame both characters, and a few long ribbon-like strands drift near the bottom right. The large open areas in the tail and coral are easy for little hands to fill in. Try blending greens and teals through the tail, then pick bright warm colors for the coral so the two characters stand out. Free to print and good for a quiet afternoon.
