Space Soldier Leaning In with Pistol, Halo Style
Coloring guide
Leaning forward, an armored space soldier aims a large pistol dead ahead in this detailed line drawing. The full helmet has a visor and a small antenna on one side, and the layered shoulder plates include a strap and buckle on the big guard. The arm bracing the weapon wears a wrist panel with a small screen, while a gloved hand grips the trigger. With no background, the armor and gun are all you see. Plenty of panels and curves make it a fit for older kids or teens who enjoy intricate sci-fi art and have steady hands with fine-tip markers or colored pencils. Olive green armor, a bright gold visor and a cool silver-gray pistol let the weapon stand out. The free PDF prints at home for a quick coloring break. This fits right in with our Halo coloring pages — see also Adopt Me! and Skylanders.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big orange shoulder and arm armor: fill the large shoulder pads, upper arm and elbow areas with bright orange, leaving the thin white lines between plates.
- 2Color the helmet and neck in sage green and moss green, then add dark olive to the darker helmet ridges and crest.
- 3Fill the gun in steel gray, with the barrel and grip in the same tone, and use dark slate for the trigger guard and small dark parts.
- 4Paint the chest, hips, legs and gloves in sage green and moss green, adding burnt orange on the knee and hip accents.
- 5Add golden yellow to the two visor lenses, keeping the small bright spots on the helmet white. Optional: add a little darker shading in the corners of the armor plates for depth.
