Rifle-Ready Halo Soldier Leaning Forward
Coloring guide
This helmeted soldier in chunky armor leans toward you and points a rifle straight ahead. His visor is tilted down, and the big shoulder plates are covered in panel lines and angled details. Look at the chest rig and you'll spot two rectangular ammo pouches and a small skull emblem, a nice little spot for extra detail. One gloved hand holds the front of the weapon, and an arrow-shaped marking sits on the thick forearm armor near the lower right. No background here, just armor and gun. The bold, clear outlines make it a good free printable for kids who like sci-fi characters and a bit of challenge. Olive green for the armor and dark gray for the rifle look great, and a bright gold or blue-tinted visor will pop. Silver or white suits the skull. This fits right in with our Halo coloring pages — see also Adopt Me! and Skylanders.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- royal blue
- medium gray
- charcoal
- golden yellow
- pale steel gray
- light gray
- slate blue
- deep blue
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big armor pieces: color the helmet, chest, shoulders, and both arms with royal blue, leaving the thin edge lines white.
- 2Fill the front of the helmet with golden yellow for the visor, then add deep blue to the darker edges around the helmet and neck.
- 3Color the rifle, belts, and shoulder straps with charcoal, and use medium gray for the ammo pouches, the magazine parts, and the barrel at the bottom.
- 4Add light gray to the gloved fist and the small pieces near the bottom of the rifle, and use slate blue for the small panels near the hips and chest.
- 5Leave the bright highlight lines, the thin seams between plates, and the background white so the armor still looks crisp.
- 6Optional: add a few pale steel gray strokes along the armor edges and the top of the helmet to suggest a little shine.
