Spartan Pointing a Big Pistol Right at You

A armored soldier in a full helmet leans forward and points a large handgun straight toward the viewer. The gun sits in the front of the page with its thick barrel, a small round screw detail and a ridged grip area. The helmet has a visor, panels and a small antenna-like piece on the side. One big rounded shoulder guard fills the right side, with a strap across it. A forearm guard with a rectangular screen sits near the bottom, and a gloved hand wraps around the weapon. Because the armor is made of so many separate plates, it works well for practicing careful coloring. Try giving each plate a different shade of green or gray, then use a darker tone along the edges so the shoulder and helmet look rounded. The gun and the little screen are good spots for a bright accent color. This free page suits older kids who like detail.
