Armored Young Woman Gripping a Tall Banner Pole

A young woman in plate armor stands with her face turned up and to the side, and a round halo circles her head. Her hair falls to her shoulders with a small tie near the end. One raised hand grips a tall pole with a long banner flowing down the left side of the page. She wears a chest plate, rounded shoulder guards, and elbow pieces, with a small pendant hanging at the center of her chest. At her waist you can see layered skirt-like armor, a belt with a round ring, and the hilt of a sword near the bottom right. The page has plenty of big open spaces, so it works well for steady crayon work. Try coloring the armor in silvers and grays, then pick a bold color for the banner and a soft gold for the halo. It is a nice starting point for a talk about brave women from history. You can print as many copies as you need for a class.
