Palm Facing Out Showing ASL Six

Coloring guide
A single open hand is drawn with the palm facing us. Three long fingers stand straight up side by side, and the fourth finger tilts off to the right, with the thumb curled in across the palm to meet it. Thick, clean outlines and a few small crease lines on the knuckles and palm give it a simple, bold look. The large white areas are easy for small hands to color. This is the American Sign Language sign for the number six, so it works well for a counting lesson. Try coloring the three raised fingers one color each, then the thumb and little finger together in a fourth color to show they touch. This free printable page also makes a handy reference when kids practice signing the numbers one to ten.
