Astronaut Kid in a Rocket Monster Truck
Coloring guide
A smiling kid in an astronaut helmet sits at the wheel of a big monster truck as it blasts through space, with a rocket strapped to its side. Flames and little puffs stream out behind the rocket, and the giant chunky tires and bouncy springs make it look mid-launch. The truck has a friendly grinning grille, round headlights and a set of lights on the roof. A ringed planet, a crescent moon covered in craters and lots of stars in different sizes fill the night sky around it. Big tires and shapes are easy for small hands, while the rocket rivets and tire treads add detail for older kids. Try a red truck with a silver rocket and a yellow moon. It's a free printable for kids who love trucks and outer space. Love this Monster Trucks coloring page? You might also enjoy our Ambulance and Race Car coloring pages.

- 1Start with the big yellow areas: color the planet's stripes, the moon-free star shapes, and the rocket flame in yellow, leaving the planet ring for later.
- 2Fill the rocket body and its fins with orange and bright red, leaving the white metal panels and round windows white.
- 3Color the monster truck body in bright red and red orange, then add the front bumper and grille in pale blue gray and steel gray.
- 4Fill the tires and wheel arches with charcoal gray, leaving the hubcaps white or lightly shaded with steel gray.
- 5Color the astronaut's face peach, the helmet glass light blue, and the smile salmon pink, keeping the helmet top white.
- 6Optional: Add a little navy blue to the planet ring and shadows under the truck for extra depth.
