Baby Asleep in a Reed Basket, Jesus / Bible Coloring Sheet

A peaceful baby sleeps curled up inside a woven basket, eyes closed and a gentle smile on its face. One little hand is tucked under the cheek, and a blanket is wrapped around the body. The basket floats on rippled water with tall reeds and cattails on both sides. A water lily with a flat pad sits behind it, and a bigger lotus-style lily blooms in the lower left corner. Over on the front right, a small duck paddles along and looks toward the basket. The basket weave is made of lots of small sections, which suits kids who like careful coloring, while the big baby face and blanket give younger children easy space. Golden browns look good on the basket, soft pink on the lilies and bright yellow on the duck. It's a free printable for Bible story time, Sunday school or a quiet afternoon at home. Kids who like Jesus / Bible coloring pages usually enjoy Flowers and Spring too.
