Campfire Marshmallow Night With a Baby Charizard-Style Dragon
Coloring guide
By a crackling campfire, a cheerful baby dragon sits on a big log holding a long stick with a puffy marshmallow on the end. It has a big smile, round eyes, small horns, spikes down its back, bat-style wings and a striped belly. A camping tent sits behind it between tall pine trees, with a lantern resting on the grass at the left. Up above, a crescent moon and several stars fill the night sky. A ring of rocks surrounds the fire, and small grass tufts and a stick are scattered on the ground. It's a free printable for kids who love camping or dragons. Warm oranges, reds and yellows suit the flames, and a soft green dragon will stand out against a deep blue night sky. The chunky outlines are friendly for small hands. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky-blue tent and the navy blue shadows on its inside folds, leaving the tent pole lines as white gaps.
- 2Color the dragon's body in grass green, then fill the belly and the pale claws with butter yellow and soft cream, leaving the eye whites and eye shine white.
- 3Fill the wings and the belly stripes with golden yellow, and the horns, head spikes and back spikes with orange.
- 4Color the pine trees in forest green and the logs in chocolate brown, with the lighter log ends in light wood brown.
- 5Make the campfire flames orange, the fire wood caramel brown, and the stones cool gray, then color the lantern bright red and golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Leave the marshmallow, sky, and stars white, and add a few extra darker strokes on the logs and trees for depth.
