Printing Tips

Charizard's fiery personality means you'll want to have a good range of reds, oranges, and yellows on hand—the flames and body require vibrant warm tones. For pages with color model references, consider using colored pencils for fine detail work around the wings and spikes. The Mega and Gigantamax versions have more intricate armor and scale patterns, so thicker marker strokes might blur fine lines; lighter pressure or gel pens work better for younger colorists tackling these detailed forms.
