Roaring Charizard in a Swirl of Flames and Clouds

Front and center, Charizard spreads its wings wide, tips its head back and lets out a mighty roar. Flames curl around the whole body and climb into a big spiral swirl at the top of the page. The arms are raised with claws showing, and the round belly is marked with diamond-shaped scales. Fluffy, bumpy clouds fill the bottom and sides, and a small stretch of ground shows between the feet. All those flame shapes and cloud outlines make it a good pick for older kids who like detailed work, and it prints free as a PDF. Go bold with oranges, reds and yellows on the fire, and leave the belly a pale cream so the diamond scales show up. Soft blue or gray clouds will make the flames glow even more. This fits right in with our Charizard coloring pages — see also Pikachu and Bulbasaur.
