Baby Giraffe Snacking on Treetop Leaves Coloring Page For Kids
Coloring guide
This young giraffe reaches its long, spotted neck toward a leafy branch and smiles while it nibbles a few leaves. The tree trunk curves in from the right side of the page and ends in a fluffy canopy. Puffy clouds drift behind the giraffe, low rounded bushes line the horizon, and little tufts of grass dot the ground. Its tufted tail swishes out behind it. The big rounded spots are easy for little hands to fill in, and the bold, clean outlines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. Soft brown spots on a warm yellow and orange coat look nice, with bright green leaves and a light blue sky. A free printable that fits a quiet afternoon or an animal-themed classroom day. Add this to your For Kids coloring page collection, alongside For Girls and Thank You Cards.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the giraffe's body, head, and long neck with golden yellow, leaving the ear and the spots for later.
- 2Color the tree canopy, leaves, and the bushes on the horizon with leaf green and forest green, adding a few lime green leaves near the mouth and between the legs.
- 3Fill the two clouds and the open sky with sky blue, keeping the sky background white if you prefer a lighter look.
- 4Use chocolate brown for the hooves, horns, tail tuft, and the larger spots on the body, then add caramel brown to the smaller spots and the branch.
- 5Color the inside of the ear with light tan and the small grass patch behind the legs with lime green.
- 6Optional: Leave small white highlights on the leaves and the leaf tips so they look shiny.
