Baby Hippo Looking Back with a Heart Tail

A chubby cartoon hippo stands with its back end toward us while turning its big round head to look over its shoulder. The tail curls up into a little heart shape at the tip. The hippo has two small round ears, two dot eyes, a wide oval muzzle with curly nostril marks, and two small square teeth poking out near the chin. The feet sit in a wavy band at the bottom that could be mud or water. Lines are thick and the shapes are large, so this free printable works well for toddlers and preschoolers learning to stay inside the lines. Try a soft gray or purple for the body, pink for the heart, and brown for the muddy ground, then talk about where hippos like to cool off.
