Baby Penguin Basketball Game Beside an Igloo
Coloring guide
Lying on its belly on the ice, a cheerful baby penguin reaches one flipper toward a basketball that just landed next to it. Behind it, a block-built igloo has a hoop with a net mounted on its wall, so the game is clearly on. Snowflakes and small round snowballs drift through the sky, with a snowy hill in the distance. Thin ripple lines around the ball and penguin hint at slippery ice, and big ice blocks fill the front. The penguin's big eyes, tiny beak and round head are easy for little hands. Soft icy blue for the igloo bricks and snowflakes lets an orange ball stand out. Free to print for young basketball fans or anyone who loves winter animals. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the igloo: fill the dome and all the wall blocks with pale ice blue, leaving the tiny gaps between blocks clean.
- 2Color the snow hill, the ground, and the bottom ice blocks with light blue, and the backboard frame with bright blue.
- 3Fill the penguin's body, head, and lower body with charcoal gray, keeping the white belly and the white eye areas untouched.
- 4Color the basketball with orange, then add the hoop rim in coral red and the flippers and beak in golden yellow.
- 5Fill the net with white and add the light blue snowflakes in the sky.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the bottom ice blocks and the penguin's body for depth.
