Slam Dunk Boy and Cheering Kids Basketball Page
Coloring guide
A smiling boy soars through the air, one arm stretched high, pushing the basketball down toward the hoop. He's dressed in a sleeveless jersey, loose shorts, socks and lace-up sneakers, and his hair bounces along with him. The net swings around the ball and a bit of the backboard peeks out behind the rim. Up in the stands, two groups of kids cheer with raised fists, open mouths and clapping hands, and small burst lines show how loud it is. A few of them wear caps, and court lines run along the bottom. Red for the player's jersey and shorts will make him stand out, and the crowd can wear whatever colorful shirts you like. This free printable has big shapes and clear outlines, so crayons and markers both work well. If you enjoyed this NBA / Basketball page, don't miss our Swimming and Tennis coloring pages.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue areas: fill the boy's jersey and shorts with royal blue, leaving the thin white trim lines on the shorts and sleeves unpainted.
- 2Color the basketball and the orange rim-free ball parts in orange, then fill the boy's hair with caramel brown.
- 3Paint the boy's skin areas (arms, neck, face, legs) with light peach, keeping the eye whites and teeth white.
- 4Fill the court floor at the bottom with honey yellow, and color the blue court walls and lower court area with medium blue and navy blue.
- 5Add the cheering crowd: give the kids shirts in kelly green, light blue, red, pink and orange, and color their hair in yellow, brown or tan.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading with navy blue along the boy's shadowed side and the shoes' edges. Leave the hoop net and sneakers white for a crisp look.
