Ice Skating My Little Pony in a Striped Scarf
Coloring guide
Winter fans will like this little pony gliding over a frozen pond in a long striped scarf with fringed ends. She wears lace-up ice skates, each tied with a small bow. One hind leg stretches out behind her, and her wavy mane and tail swirl along with the motion. She has big sparkly eyes and a happy smile. Snow-covered evergreens and gentle hills frame the scene, and snowflakes and round snow dots drift down from the sky. Curved lines on the ice show where she has already skated. Red and white stripes on the scarf look cheerful, and icy light blue works well on the skates and snowflakes. Download the free PDF and keep a few extra copies handy. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- pale tan
- chestnut brown
- forest green
- candy red
- warm cream
- sky blue
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the pony's body, face, ears and neck with pale tan, leaving the eye whites and the little highlight on the cheek white.
- 2Fill the mane, forelock and tail with chestnut brown, leaving a few thin light strands so the hair looks shiny.
- 3Color the scarf with candy red and warm cream stripes, alternating them around the neck and along the fringe at the ends.
- 4Color the pine trees forest green, keeping the snowy tops and the snowbanks white.
- 5Add sky blue to the ice shadows under the pony and the skates, and to the small patches of snow in the background.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker chestnut brown along the underside of the mane and tail for a little depth.
