Rarity takes center stage here, looking back over her shoulder with big sparkling eyes and a sweet smile. Her curly mane falls across one side of her face, and her long tail swirls out behind her in striped waves. Fluffy feathery trim circles her neck and one raised front leg, and three diamond shapes sit on her flank. Two columns with diamond lattice patterns and curly scroll tops stand behind her, holding up a graceful arch. You'll spot the My Little Pony logo in the top corner. Little kids can tackle the large open shapes in her mane, tail and columns, while the lattice gives older kids something fussier to do. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the arch, the scrolls at the top of the columns, and the column capitals by filling them with golden yellow.
- 2Fill the diamond pattern on the two columns with soft lavender, and color the bottom bits of the columns with pale lilac.
- 3Color the mane and tail with violet, then add deep purple to the darker folds and curls, leaving the bright streaks white.
- 4Paint the rainbow arc at the top of the logo with pale pink, and use pale lilac for the lighter parts of the tail and mane.
- 5Keep the pony's body, chest fluff, legs, and eye whites white, and leave the background wall white as well.
- 6Optional: Add a little deep purple shading along the edges of the mane and tail to make the curls pop.
