Backpack Full of Surprises for Teacher Appreciation Day
Coloring guide
A big school backpack sits in the middle of a classroom, its top overflowing with gifts for a favorite teacher. Two large daisy-style flowers and leafy stems poke out one side beside a folded card with a heart on the front. On the other side, a wrapped present with a bow and a shiny apple with a leaf peek out. The front pocket has a zipper, and another zipper runs along the side. Behind the bag are a chalkboard, a student desk, a window, and a framed flower picture on the wall, with a tiled floor below. Large open shapes are easy for small hands, and the flowers and bow add a little detail for older kids. Try a red apple, yellow and pink petals, and whatever color the backpack should be. It's good for a thank-you craft or a quiet classroom activity. Browse more Teacher Appreciation Day coloring pages, or explore Halloween and Gingerbread House for even more fun.

- 3Fill the front pocket and lower panel with light blue, then add the zipper bar and pulls in bright yellow and lemon yellow.
- 4Color the gift boxes in sky blue, the apple and card in cherry red, the heart in pink, and the folder in mustard yellow.
- 5Paint the flower petals white and add leaf green and grass green leaves and pencils; keep the flower centers bright yellow.
- 6Finish the background with forest green chalkboard, caramel orange frames, pale beige floor tiles, and a grass green window view. Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the backpack for depth.
