Teacher Hug Coloring Page for Teacher Appreciation Day
Coloring guide
A smiling woman with shoulder-length hair bends down and wraps her arms around a little boy, who hugs her back with his face turned up in a big grin. She wears a cardigan over a top, a long skirt, small round earrings, and a lanyard with an ID badge, so it's easy to picture her as a teacher. Behind them is a large window with puffy clouds outside and a leafy potted plant on the sill at the right. The boy has tousled hair, a short-sleeved shirt, and jeans. Kids can color the plant leaves in fresh greens, then choose a bright color for the badge so it stands out against the cardigan. Print it for a thank-you card or classroom activity. The larger shapes make it a friendly pick for young colorers. More like this: explore the Teacher Appreciation Day, Halloween and Gingerbread House coloring page collections.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin areas: color the woman's face, neck, hands and arms and the boy's face and hands with peach skin, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 2Color the hair of both the woman and the boy in chestnut brown, adding a few lighter strands if you like.
- 3Fill the window sky with light sky blue and the bushes outside with grass green, leaving the clouds white.
- 4Color the woman's cardigan and sleeves in lavender purple, and the boy's shirt in bright blue. Keep the blouse, skirt and ID badge white.
- 5Use terracotta orange for the flower pot, caramel brown for its base, and grass green and forest green for the plant leaves. Color the windowsill peach skin and the boy's pants pocket golden tan.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading with a darker shade of each color along the edges and under the chin, or add a pale lilac lanyard.
