A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big skin areas: color the faces, necks, hands and arms of both girls in light peach, leaving the eye whites and the bread baskets' white weave unpainted.
- 2Fill the chef hats' bands in baby blue and the aprons in baby blue, adding the pocket and bib, while keeping the hats' white tops clean.
- 3Color the girls' hair in warm brown on the left and golden yellow on the right, then add the shirts in rose pink and lilac.
- 4Paint the bread loaves in honey gold and the baskets and counter in tan, and color the lamp in golden yellow and bright orange.
- 5Color the cakes in pale cream with the pink cake stand and blue cloche base in sky blue, leaving the glass dome white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the bread and the cake edges, and finish the cupcakes and cabinets in warm brown and cool gray for depth.
