In the grass sits a batting helmet with a long brim, next to a bucket of baseballs with three balls peeking over the rim. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the helmet shell and ear flap with fire red, then fill the visor with dim gray and the face guard with charcoal gray.
- 2Fill the bucket body and hook with bright blue and pale blue, and the shoe bodies, tongues and cleat sides with bright blue and steel blue.
- 3Color the glove body and lacing with chocolate brown, and the bat's wood body and knob with light tan.
- 4Shade the bat grip with caramel, adding stripes across the handle section.
- 5Leave the baseballs, shoe laces, shoe white panels and the background white so they stand out.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the edges of the helmet and the glove for depth.
