Beach Day Relaxing with an Oddbods Character
Coloring guide
This smiling egg-shaped character is stretched out on a striped wooden beach chair, hands tucked behind its head. It wears round glasses and a wide-brimmed sun hat with a little flower on it, and its two oval feet stick out front. A big paneled umbrella shades the chair, and ocean waves roll behind it under a smiling sun and two puffy clouds. Down in the sand, there's a small sandcastle with a flag on the left and a bucket and shovel on the right. Everything is drawn big and clean, so this free printable works well for preschoolers and early elementary kids. A yellow hat with a bright pink flower looks nice, and you could stripe the umbrella in rainbow colors and pick two blues for the waves. Crayons and markers both do the job. - 1Fill the big lemon body, arms, feet and the sun with sunny yellow, keeping the eye whites and the glasses lenses white.
- 2Color the sea bands and the chair's blue stripes with bright blue, and the sandy areas and castle walls with sandy beige.
- 3Use light straw for the hat, the sand patches and the sand spade, then add pale blue to the two clouds.
- 4Color the umbrella panels bright red, leaving the white panels white, and fill the umbrella pole and chair frame with wood brown.
- 5Add pink to the hat band, the flower center details and the glasses frames, then color the bucket bright red and the castle roof orange.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of a darker shade on the lemon body and sand to give a bit of depth.
