Little Oddbods Alien Astronaut Floating in Space
Coloring guide
Drifting through the sky is a smiling little alien in a space suit. Its round head sits inside a clear bubble helmet with a shiny reflection, and two antennae with round tips poke up inside. Big sparkly eyes and an open happy mouth make it look friendly. One arm waves while the other stretches out to the side. The suit has striped cuffs and legs, a chest panel with buttons, and a small backpack. A ringed planet sits at the top left, a crescent moon at the top right, a small rocket with flames at the bottom right, and lots of little stars are scattered around. Large shapes and clean lines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. Lime green for the alien and light blues for the suit work well, with warm, bright colors on the planet and rocket so they stand out against a night-sky feel. Free to print. - 1Start with the big helmet: fill the glass area at the top and sides with pale blue, leaving the small shine spots on the right side white.
- 2Color the alien's face lime green, then fill the antennae and the ring at the neck with sky blue.
- 3Use royal blue for the gloves, the boots, the legs, the earphones, the belt and the control panel frame on the chest.
- 4Add orange to the glove cuffs, the leg bands and the rocket flame, and bright red to the rocket body fins and small light on the panel.
- 5Color the planet with golden yellow and orange bands, lemon yellow for the ring and stars, and leave the moon and eye whites white.
- 6Optional: Add a little deeper shading on the helmet edges and under the arms for a bit of depth.
