Striped Antennae Pair of Zipper-Seamed Oddbods Side by Side

Two rounded, bean-shaped characters stand side by side, each with a zipper-like seam down the front and striped antennae on top. The one on the left stands calmly with a small closed-mouth smile, wide round eyes looking to the side, and a spring at the base of its two bobble-tipped antennae. The one on the right is jumping with both arms up, an open laughing mouth showing teeth, and big curled antennae that look like candy canes. Both have simple chunky feet and a little beauty mark or patch on their faces. The big open shapes work well for crayons or markers. Try coloring the antenna stripes in two alternating colors, then let kids pick a different color for each character's body to practice matching and contrast. A free printable copy is handy for a quiet classroom activity.
