Bear, Bunny and Squirrel Picnic Thank You Cards
Coloring guide
A smiling bear sits in the center of a picnic blanket with a frosted cupcake, a long-eared bunny beside it nibbles a strawberry, and a bushy-tailed squirrel on the other side holds its own cupcake. In front are a woven basket packed with apples, strawberries and grapes, a bowl of berries and a plate of cupcakes. The checkered blanket rests among flowers, leafy bushes and little mushrooms, with big trees on both sides. Farther back you can see a lake, distant pine trees and a sun with rays over the whole scene. The happy sharing mood makes it a good page for a thank you card, with room for a handwritten message inside. Red and pink fit the strawberries, warm yellow the sun, and soft brown the bear. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky and the lake in sky blue, leaving the fluffy clouds and the bright sun area white.
- 2Fill the grass, bushes, and leafy tree tops with grass green, then add forest green and leaf green in the darker spots for depth.
- 3Color the bear and its ears in warm brown, and the bear's belly and the basket in peach tan, keeping the cupcake frosting white.
- 4Color the gray bunny in light gray, add baby pink inside the ears, and leave the teeth white. Use burnt orange for the squirrel's body and tail, with peach tan on its belly.
- 5Fill the picnic blanket with pale pink and coral red checks, color the blue bowl in sky blue, and add golden yellow to the sun and the apple.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the bear, bunny, and squirrel with a slightly deeper shade of their colors to make them pop.
